Leonard is a [[Leopard]] that haunts [[Irilion]] by [[night]] (except during the [[Special Days|special day]] [[Special Days#Leonard.27s Day|Leonard's Day]] when he is out all day). His name is ''Leonard (alpha)'' but is mostly known as Lenny. Leonard is an very aggressive creature that attacks players regardless of [[Monster Magnetism Perk]] or [[Monster Magnetism Cloak]] when lenny ''thinks'' he can win the fight.&lt;br /&gt;

Lenny's visibility is low and tends to stay away from large groups and well-lit areas. Leonard prefers to prey upon lonely harvesters without any [[weapons]] and [[armour]]. Lenny's attack is over 100 and defense is much lower, so to fight lenny successfully, you need a weapon and armour so you can kill Lenny before Lenny kills you. Lenny gains pick points by killing players - one attribute increase per kill. Thus for every kill, Lenny becomes more dangerous. He loots player death bags for any items he can use.&lt;br /&gt;

Note: Lenny also attacks other [[creatures]] he encounters, and will loot the gold coins and some potions they drop (i.e. [[gargoyle]]s dropping [[Potion of Defense]]).&lt;br /&gt;

Respawn time becomes strange since Leonard has his own little island where he spawns - that island isn't reachable for players. When Lenny gets bored, he teleports to another map and starts his search for victims.&lt;br /&gt;

It is not an easy fight to try and kill Lenny although many have tried because of his fur that is used to make the [[Potion of Speed Hax]].&lt;br /&gt;

Lenny's cooldown time appears to be lower than players. Lenny has used multiple Rings of Disengagement quickly when stacked by multiple characters. &lt;br /&gt;

When you try to attack Leonard, he will most likely flee from the fight after a few hits. It will use a ring of disengangement and you can not move for three seconds. If you are alone or you have low perception, it is possible you loose sight of him when it runs away.&lt;br /&gt;

The [[Special_Days#Day of the Brave|Day of the Brave]] can play to your advantage, because Leonard will not be able to use a dis ring and flee, or to your disadvantage because he will win the fight and kill you :) In a fight to the dead he will use up all of his GHP (80 health) and later starts using BR (30 health) which makes him a bit easier to kill then. As long as Leonard is drinking potions his health will not drop below 70.&lt;br /&gt;

When you try to attack Leonard, he will most likely flee from the fight after a few hits. It will use a ring of disengangement and you can not move for three seconds. If you are alone or you have low perception, it is possible you loose sight of him when it runs away.&lt;br /&gt;

The [[Special_Days#Day_of_the_Brave|Day of the Brave]] can play to your advantage, because Leonard will not be able to use a dis ring and flee, or to your disadvantage because he will win the fight and kill you :) In a fight to the dead he will use up all of his GHP (80 health) and later starts using BR (30 health) which makes him a bit easier to kill then. As long as Leonard is drinking potions his health will not drop below 70.&lt;br /&gt;

Invances have to be triggered by a moderator. Generally a team is gathering in one of the invance team channels and a request is made. &lt;br /&gt;
The invance team channel numbers are descriptive of the range they represent - they are as follows:&lt;br /&gt;

If you are not on your invance team channel, you will not get any prior warning before the invance gets started. Once the invance is triggered a blue message appears: &lt;br /&gt;

Two warnings are given, one when the invance becomes available and one ten minutes later. You have a total of 20 minutes to get to the MM battle hall and join the invance. Once you have joined, don't forget your [[amber]], you can return to the normal maps to restock. If you take any exit in the invance map, including boats and doors to houses, you end up on the regular maps. Players have died because they clicked on a house accidentally then walked out and was killed by a Yeti on regular [[Iscalrith]] map. Bring a [[Ring of Naralik]] or [[Ring of Morcraven Marsh]] for a speedy restock. You do not need to pay [[amber]] after the first time you enter the invance. It is best to announce on channel that you are restocking so invasion is not undermanned.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
You can harvest on map and sometimes you will find players harvesting Ogre Toes in fort before invaders but it is considering impolite to not finish before invasion starts.  No food on this map unfortunately. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;

#Invances are team events. The entire point is to clear the map within a time limit. If you enter, you *must* help the team win.&lt;br /&gt;
#No sabotaging other players.&lt;br /&gt;
#Gatekeeper must never go AFK and must allow people through the gate.&lt;br /&gt;
#No AFKing for *any* reason, anywhere.  No leaving the map (with the exception of a quick restock) for any reason and then come back near the end just for the experience.  If you must AFK, you must exit the invance and not return.&lt;br /&gt;
#This is not an event to farm bosses, serp other players, train a/d, stand around at the gate while others do the work, or go AFK.&lt;br /&gt;
#If you bring more than one character, all characters need to be actively fighting at all times.&lt;br /&gt;
#Do not show up just for the bosses or run over to the boss spawns to wait for them before it even starts.&lt;br /&gt;
#If you do not get experience (undercappers or maxed 178ers), you cannot go and cherry pick what mobs you want then leave.&lt;br /&gt;
#You must go in good gear - &amp;quot;good&amp;quot; will depend on the range and will be more flexible for the lower ranges. You are not helping the team if you show up in leathers/augs, iron swords, and training arrows, no matter how high your stats are.&lt;br /&gt;
#If you go *only* as an archer and will not do melee, you must have reasonably high AP,  must not use training arrows, and must come down from the walls and continue to range  in the field when those mobs are gone. Plan to shoot approximately 300 arrows (or 200 with Ethereal Ranger perk/bow).&lt;br /&gt;
#Observers are allowed but you must not clutter the channel with chat, are not allowed to cherry pick mobs to kill, and are not allowed to pick up bags. You must not get in the way or inconvenience those who fight. This also applies to alts of team members who are not in range.&lt;br /&gt;

== Tactics ==&lt;br /&gt;
The aim of the game is to keep the monsters out of the fort and kill them all before the time-limit expires. The entrance to the fort can be blocked by one person, but if this person gets into a fight, wins and moves onto a bag, the door will get unblocked. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The wall of the fort provide excellent ranging opportunities, but watch out, you can be attacked when ranging from directly over the gate and a few places on the wall elsewhere.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Generally players get organized before the invance is triggered by joining the invance-channel. Unlike Instances it is not necessary to have/join a channel, but it helps coordinate the battle.&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
There does not seem to be a limit to the number of players that join the Invance, anyone under the cap can join (but this will put you on cooldown even if your not at the minimum cap). Be aware that joining the Invance for the sole purpose of getting xp (without actually helping significantly) is not acceptable and can result in a ban from the game (per radu). A team of at least 15 players seems to be needed to complete the invance successfully on higher level Invances, but can be done with 8-10 people on lower level Invances, with augmented or chain armors, or 4-5 in high level gear.&lt;br /&gt;

Having gate guard be able to to become invisible, with potion or spells, is very useful.  Archers standing above gate can be attacked and lure monsters to gate. Now if gate guard is attacked you can use teleport to range to top of gate and help defend.&lt;br /&gt;
