There are tons of places to harvest things, but there are always some spots which are much better than others.

These caves in northwest [[Glacmor]] are your quickest option at 2 minutes, using the [[Irinveron]] storage via the teleport spots in Irin from north Glac exit to the southwest area.

In the north of White Stone, close to the [[Nordcarn]] exit, there is a cave with [[Gargoyles]] and [[Imp]]s, [[Quartz]], [[Blue Quartz]], [[Rose Quartz]] and [[Diamond]]. Right at the entry you can find [[Coal]], if it is full of harvesters, there is another one located over toward the wall with the [[Diamond|Diamonds]]. The closest storage is [[Nordcarn]] storage. This location is much closer than the location in [[Desert Pines]].

With only two rats to annoy you and with a short walk to an outdoor storage, this is a great place to harvest coal on Irilion.

[[Diamond|Diamonds]], [[Blue Quartz]], [[Quartz]], [[Rose Quartz]] and [[Coal]] abound in this cave at the middle top of White Stone. [[Nordcarn]] storage is just a short walk away, after the map change, and is much faster than going down to [[White Stone]] storage.

The [[diamond]] is located in the sewers, suspended in mid-air above an elaborate quartz garland. Storage is also located in the sewers, although you do need to use the [[Teleport to Range Spell]] to reach it.

The room containing the emeralds has no creatures or monsters in it, so you can safely switch from [[Monster Magnetism Cloak]] to [[Excavator Cape]] so as to harvest faster. '''Warning:''' Just remember to put [[Monster Magnetism Cloak]] back on before leaving the [[Emerald]] room.

Though the entrance to the caves is a [[https://smf.el-wiki.net/index.php?topic=288 secret]], this cave is very close to [[Viorica]]'s outdoor storage. And with the only monster being [[Armed Skeleton|Armed Skeletons]], many adventurers may not even need the [[Monster Magnetism Perk]] or [[Monster Magnetism Cloak] to harvest here safely.

[[Valley of the Dwarves]] [[Gold Mines]] is the place for Ogre Toes in Seredia. However, they are on the second floor, so you do have to deal with [[Female Orc|Female Orcs]].
* [[White Stone]] [[Tirnwood Undergrounds]] (C1) is alternate if you can not deal with Female Orcs this is best place to harvest with only a [[Small Gargoyle]] to deal with and is close to White Stone outdoor storage.

Just outside storage to the west. Very close.

North of storage, just a bit east of the north-east teleportal pad as you enter Forest of the Fall.

Directly west of the outdoor storage, past the windmill, next to a rock by the water just before you reach the white fenced area with roses and other flowers. Very short walk.

Just outside storage in the back of the building against the wall.

The rose quartz is somewhat hidden behind a fallen brick at [173,92]. Use the Nordcarn storage. The quartz is at NC city entrance. The blue quartz is in the center of Nordcarn.

* [[Emerald Valley Caves]] (C2)
The [[Blue Quartz]] is on the far eastern wall past the last patch of [[Emerald]]s. It's a good alternative to [[Nordcarn]].

Just east of storage next to the building by the corn field. This is very close to the PV storage, and you can even leave the storage window open.

Following the path south of storage, you will find red roses at the base of a tree east of the path (just across the red snapdragons at the rock). This is very close to the VotD storage, and you can even leave the storage window open.

* [[Emerald Valley Trade Route]] (C2) 00:35
Northwest of storage against a tree. Somewhat hidden by another bush, but it's there.

Following the path south of storage, you will find red snapdragons beside a large rock on the west side the path (just across from the red roses at the tree). This is very close to the VotD storage, and you can even leave the storage window open.

* [[Irsis]] (C2) 00:10
Walk directly east from the door and you'll find the [[Red Snapdragon]]s first. Only thing is that you have to go inside to drop it off into storage. [[Leonard]] stalks this area as well.

* [[Emerald Valley Trade Route]] (C2) 00:15
Just east of outdoor storage against the edge of the map. Don't even need to close the storage interface.

Close to storage and with the worst monsters being Phantom Warriors (who will ignore you at defense 26), this cave is the prime locations on Seridia for harvesting [[Ruby|rubies]]. 

* [[Aeth Aelfan]] (C2)
The small ruby cave in southwest forest is the best walk to storage. Note a hobgoblin lives on the map, and Leonard frequents the forest.

=== [[Sapphire]] ===
* [[Portland]] [[Eastern Cave]] to [[White Stone]] City (C1) 01:00
This cave is close to storage and has almost all the ingredients for Water Essences in it, except for [[Blue Lupine]], which is found just outside the [[Portland]] entrance.

* [[Palon Vertas]] (C2) 01:10
Best place on C2, since all of the others are in secret locations far from storage or are not harvestable.

Use the South Cave and take the boat to the silver (it is about 10 seconds faster than using the north entrance). Note that you need a defense of 26 to harvest safely without a Monster Magnetism Cape.

=== [[Sulfur]] ===
* [[Emerald Valley Caves]] (C2) 00:45
Though the entrance to the caves is a [[https://smf.el-wiki.net/index.php?topic=288 secret]], this cave is very close to [[Viorica]]'s outdoor storage. * [[Crystal Caverns]] (C1) 01:30
To achieve this time, you must use the VotD storage. From VotD storage, take the boat to Desert Pines, and walk south to the teleport. When you appear at the west end of Evergreen Woods, walk southeast to the Crystal Caverns entrance. After harvesting, use "#beam me" to return to VotD storage (01:20).

The outdoor storage is just north of the harvest location, also on the west side of the river. A good alternative for those who aren't safe in Naralik.

* [[Zirakinbar]] (C2) 00:12
Directly south of storage, by a pole at the docks. Note hobgoblins and more roam this map.

Behind storage next to a tree. Although you need to walk inside the building, this is by far the closest to storage. There is the worry of [[Leonard]] at night, otherwise there are no aggressive creatures on this map.

Unlike in [[White Stone]], there are no roaming monsters to worry about for those with low a/d. And the outdoor storage is just west over the river.

A short walk to the outdoor storage. For a cool trick, take one more step after you approach the tree.

Several very good locations for these, but these are the best for stocking large amounts for your [[ashes]] needs. All have branches only a few steps away from storage.

Only 2-3 steps east of storage (slightly in the woods heading in the direction of the castle). Warning: Gargoyles can be troublesome for lower level harvesters at night.

* [[Valley of the Dwarves]] (C1)
Directly south of storage, on the opposite side of the wall. An only slightly longer walk than the other options, but this is the best place if you are a newer player concerned about your safety in the other locations.

* [[Nordcarn]] (C1)
Only 2-3 steps north, outside the storage. This one, unlike the other three, has the disadvantage of an inside storage, slowing things down a bit requiring map changes and clicking on the storage NPC with each trip.

* [[Emerald Valley Trade Route]] (C2)
Only 2-3 steps east of storage.  Warning: Lenny can be troublesome for lower level harvesters at night.
