True Sight is the ability to see players and creatures that are invisible. The following things can give the effect of true sight:

Some high-level creatures may (eventually) also have true sight. If you were invisible, this would allow them to see you and attack you.

If you use a ranging weapon while invisible, you will temporarily become visible each time you fire it unless you have the Ninja Perk or have the Tunic of the Ninja equipped.

True sight is not related to perception or vision distance at night. Therefore, it is not related to the Light Modifier, Lightmeters, Night Visors, or the Cape of Passive Camouflage.
