Players can perform a mana burn by using:

- Dragon Blade, a two-handed weapon
- Staff of the Mage, a two-handed special weapon
- Cutlass of the Mage, a special sword
- Fire bolts, a type of ammunition for crossbows

Bears usually inflict 20-30 damage on both material and ethereal points when they perform a mana burn.
