Beginners Guide to Crafting.

Beginners Guide to Crafting[edit]

Crafting is not a good way to make money but it is a good way to transform some harvestable items into items sellable to NPC for gold and is thus not so bad. Crafting requires nexuses in artificial and magic.

Making threads[edit]

Here are some easy steps to being increasing your crafting experience.

  • Start off by harvesting lots of Cotton.
  • Then make sure you put 1 Pickpoint on your Artificial Nexus.
  • Then make Thread like there is no tomorrow.

Cotton usually grow close to a vegetables patch so when you get hungry harvest you can eat vegetables. When the food is positive craft the cotton into threads. As the food gets negative - harvest cotton until you can eat again. Continue until you can't carry any more threads. Offload threads into storage and go back to make threads from cotton all over again. You will need to make something like 10 000 threads. Use the threads to level tailoring and/or manufacturing.

Making un-magical rings and medallions[edit]

Make a thousand or two of silver medallions they are needed later when you will mass produce moon medallions. The ring might be useful too and making a thousand of each could be useful for all rings you will make later on.

One don't usually make the silver and gold rings and medallions to level crafting but rather more because one need them to make magical items.

Polishing gems (sapphires)[edit]

Polishing gems will be one of the main ways to level crafting. You will polish many thousands of sapphires to level crafting so you can make high level items. To do this it is recommended to make your own water essences and harvest all items yourself. If you do so each polished will gain you 12.5gc for the harvestables you use to polish the sapphire and is a not so bad way of selling your harvestable for money and getting some experience also.

Since polishing requires lot of food one way to do it is to polish 10 gems every time you visit the storage so most of the time you craft using mostly cheap food like fruits. By making sure you are full of cheap food when entering storage you can use the time it takes to leave storage to eat up since you spend all energy to polish sapphires. You might polish some of the other gems but sapphires is the ones who gets you the most money compares with the ingredients to mix it all.

Sell off sapphires to the shop in Idaloran to get money to buy more gem sanders.

Moon medallions[edit]

Once you have taken some magic nexuses making moon medallions will be your main way to level crafting. Moon medallions require silver medallions and polished sapphires which you should have many in storage by now.

The moon medallions can be sold to a shop in Glacmor for a 170gc and thus is a good way to level crafting for many more levels. You get crafting experience from polishing the sapphire, making the silver medallion and then finally the moon medallion so the total base experience to make a moon medallion is 60+25+100=185 and if you to that add crafting god and attributes and each run to sell 35 moon medallions represent 8K of experience and it should help you get to level 40.
